The Commitment to Serve

Throughout more than half of the 21 year history of the Baptist Health System, you'll notice our Foundation playing a key role. Initially, its primary function was fundraising. For example, board members of the Foundation along with dedicated volunteers, put in countless hours to obtain funds to purchase the building and erect a new wing.

Now the mission of our Foundation is expanding. Eric W. Habel, Chairperson of the Baptist Health System Foundation Board, explains, "Our purpose is threefold... to conduct education, to be advocates for issues related to the aged and to promote public health issues for persons of all ages."
