Finances

Monthly payments are made from the resident's private funds, private insurance, Medicare when qualified, or by Medicaid when private funds are exhausted. Medicaid is paid for by the County where the resident last resided. It is the responsibility of the resident or his/her family to apply for Medicaid and to produce verification from the County of acceptance for this aid.

Rooms

Baptist offers residents and patients fully furnished private, semi-private and four-person rooms. Residents are encouraged to bring favorite keepsakes for their rooms to create a warm feeling of home.

Daily Rates (effective 11/2012)*

Payments are to be made within the first seven days of the month. Payment of one month in advance is required unless it is a Medicare covered admission.

An application and PRI must be submitted before an individual can be considered for placement. Submission of an application does not create any entitlement to admission.

Our policy is to admit without regard to race, handicap, national origin, sex, creed, age, marital status, sexual preference or source of payment.

* As the result of healthcare legislation enacted by NYS, there is currently a 6.8% assessment on all room charges. Please consult your financial advisor on the tax deductibility of this assessment.
